Jace has turned into a super crawler and loves to go towards the action. If all is calm at our house, he will venture off on his own and play by himself for a little while. But if someone gets up to go somewhere, you're sure to have a follower! I took the kids to storytime yesterday for the first time in a couple weeks and Jace was everywhere! I'm so not used to that! Ruby hardly leaves my side (still!) so to have a little one that was Mr. Social Butterfly was kind of different!
He has also been standing up on anything he can find to stand up on...the couch, the kitchen chairs, his highchair, the dishwasher, the window ledge, the bathtub, the toilet, any toy that he can get a good grasp on... you name it, he'll find it. He can also walk behind a couple of his toys if he gets in the right position.
Jace and Ruby have been having so much fun together lately. He thinks she's funny and she's getting more used to him playing alongside her. Ruby calls Jace, "Boo-Boo." We have no idea how this started, but now it's stuck and we all call him that! He even answers to Boo-Boo!
Jace loves to play peek-a-boo. He will put a blanket on his head and quick take it off, just waiting for us to say, "peek-a-boo!" His best tricks are still waving and imitating noises. He has also started to shake his head "no" and clap his hands. He also loves to point at things.
I can't believe in one short month we will be having a birthday party for this little cutie!
We all love you Boo!
