Ruby had her first night of Soccer earlier this week. She did great! It was so fun to watch her run around the field... sometimes looking like she knew what she was doing and other times...or shall I say, MOST times... not so much. :) 3 year old soccer is hilarious! Early in the game, one of her teammates fell down and she stopped to make sure he was ok before running down the field. Pretty cool...made us proud parents. She also picked up the ball once and threw it...oops! After the game, her grandma Ruth asked, "Ruby, did you have fun?!" To which Ruby replied, "Yes! And I got a snack!" So obviously the snack was the best part and will be an added bonus each week! The soccer fields are right across from our house and are busy most nights of the week from May to October. There are also baseball and softball fields and a small park as well. It is a fun place to live by.
Walking to the fields with Coach Dad. Paul is helping coach the Green team and I have to say, he did pretty great too. ;)
Ruby's biggest fan. This picture makes Jace look like such an angel...just sitting quietly and watching the game. That was definitely NOT the case. I am very thankful for Papa Gary and Grandma Ruth who attended the game and consequently looked after this wild man. ;)
