Our first day of summer started with a trip to Hurts Donuts in our jammies!
Lots of park dates!...
...and play dates with Sydney!
Play dates with neighbor friend, Ava, too!
The cheerleaders during little brothers' soccer games!
My good friend, Jenny, came for a visit with her sweet Jett!
Ruby had her dance recital at the brand new Hancher Auditorium this year!
"You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile"
Paul also made his Hancher debut during the daddy/daughter dance!
It was a wonderful, but very long, recital! Jace fell asleep after his big sister performed!
The big kids went to Bible School, and Annie and I got to help!
We opted for our first pool membership this summer, so we made several trips to the Coralville pool!
Ruby and Jace decided at the last minute to sign up for T-Ball. They were on the same team for the first time ever and probably the last time as well, as I'm sure their age gap won't allow for that to happen again.
Pokey even got to watch a game!
We made a trip to Paul's Aunt Jana and Uncle Bill's house in Pella. They hosted a get-together for Papa John's birthday. It included a huge slip and slide.
Annie decided the slip and slide wasn't for her, and she chose to spend more of her time with the several kittens found around the farm.
We attempted a garage sale with my friend, Jaci. The kids wanted to sell baked goods and lemonade.
We picked strawberries!
Annie had more fun playing with Duke, who she continued to talk about for weeks afterward.
Joel and Amy came to town for Father's Day weekend!
Father's Day included a trip to The Iowa River Power Company for brunch after church and pictures down by the river.
We sure love this daddy!
