Adventureland

We made a trip to Adventureland in June.  It was a beautiful day and just warm enough to spend some time at the water park during the afternoon hours.  

Annie decided she was NOT a fan of the rides.  In her defense, we didn't start her out very calmly.  We all rode the hot air balloons which do go quite high and quite fast for a one year old.  She had a pretty tight grip on me the entire time.  Her second ride was much lower to the ground...this ladybug with Jace.  But she did not appreciate it any more than the previous ride.  She didn't cry or scream but took great comfort in her big brother next to her.  Jace was amazing and took great care of his baby sister until the ride was over.

 

Although we did manage to get Annie to ride the train with all of us...

 ...she was much more comfortable being held on solid ground...

...or eating snacks in her stroller...

...or watching from afar.  ;)

Her brother and sister proved to have no fear.  Ruby was tall enough to go on several of the roller coasters, including one that went upside down.  And Jace even managed to go on his first real roller coaster as long as dad went along too.  It was a great family day!
